I outlined everything we talked about and now I have to put them in a little powerpoint because I think that helps me the best when it comes to this class.
[ yuri lets out a laugh and sits up again, adjusting his phone so the angle can capture him better. ]

[ he wags a finger at the camera before adjusting his laptop, turning back to the screen and the open book next to it. he makes himself comfy, pulling his legs up into the chair to curl up as he lets out a slow breath. ]
Have you found some that are just tugging at all of your heart strings?
Well, they have all the shelter volunteers on rotation and I've been kind of going between a few good babies. There's a pomsky I like! Really bright blue eyes. Very funny personality, kind of goofy. And there's this really, really sweet girl, a spitz-type breed.
( finn's eyes get a little watery thinking about her, tapping his lemon-tipped novelty pen against his notebook. )
I don't know if I'm experienced enough for a special needs baby dog but...
If you don't feel comfortable with a pet with special needs, then don't force yourself into thinking you have to have one. Just point them in Bren's direction, he'll make big eyes at Ry about it, and then you'll still be able to see them!

he blinks, realizing he has very explicitly stated an intent to live with finn in the future, and the tips of his ears turn red. he's wanted to bring it up for apartment dwelling, but buying a house... ]
I think I could live in the city too! If I was by a dog park, of course. ( naturally, finn assumes yuri is only thinking about finn's ideal living situation. not the type of situation that would be perfect for them. yuri is safe for now. )
Right now, though, I should focus on passing classes, ( finn giggles behind his hand. he pulled all his books out but it's hard to concentrate when he's gazing fondly at his boyfriend on the phone. )
[ yuri smiles, casting his gaze to his computer. he'll definitely ask finn to move in with him once his finals are over. before that would just be a distraction, after all. he has important things to focus on.
but damn he really, really wishes finn could just... get it sometimes, without yuri having to spell it out. ]

We can have a nice breakfast if you're sleeping over! And then we can study. No distractions!
( for finn that means "limited distractions," of course. he's always going to veer off track a little, but having yuri studying next to him helps him focus. ( is it adhd? is it because he's a magical being? probably a combination of both. ) )
