before he can hesitate any longer yuri reaches out and takes a hold of finn's hand, bringing it toward him. he presses finn's wrist against his neck, right on his scent gland, and he starts to lightly rub it back and forth in order to both spread his own scent and press finn's into his own skin. yuri's eyes fall closed and he lets out a slow breath, the rumbling noise that leaves him sounding almost like a purr. ]
( it's like walking into a cloud of perfume, not quite as all-consuming as it might be for other people, but noticeable nonetheless. it suits him, finn decides with a small smile, sniffing quite obviously a few times before watching yuri continue the process. )
Orange! ( he certainly sounds happy about it now that he's taken a moment to parse through the different notes in the air.
his fingers flex as yuri begins to purr and he giggles under his breath. who knew that a simple gesture would turn him into a pink-haired kitty? certainly not finn. )
[ yuri opens his eyes again, slightly glazed over now as he tumbles close to the edge of scent drunk. it's been... well, the last time he shared his scent with anyone like this was with his sister, and that was a strictly familial affection. it's obviously something else with finn, and yuri isn't seasoned enough to know how to rein this in.
he turns his head a little in order to press his nose directly to finn's wrist, the cloud over his vision clearing a little as he brightens up. ]
Oh! That's-- I mean, yes, flowers, it's very pretty, but you have vanilla, too!

when he reemerges later he's freshly washed and even though he's removed each of his patches, there's still the lingering scent of cherry blossoms on his skin. he's changed into a soft sweater, purple of a shade to settle well with his hair rather than fight against it, that settles lightly enough at his waist that if he raises his arms there's a bare flash of skin. his pants are loose and flowy, almost looking like a skirt when he stands still, and smooths out all of the fabric before knocking soundly on finn's door. ]
( smiling dopily, finn bows his head and closes the door before scurrying to his own room where he has an awkward but well-meaning conversation with his butler as they choose clothes for dinner.
"I - I don't want to claim him. I just wanted to be comfortable here!"

[ in no way, shape, or form is yuri subtle as he lets his eyes scan over finn in front of him. the color suits him well, he thinks, and oh that waist. yuri would very much like to settle his hands right there, just to feel it.
