( finn's gaze is utterly adoring as he stands back and watches yuri run towards their beach house for the night, enjoying the way his face lights up. it's in theory no different than the times she has asked yuri to go nature walking with him, but today is very special even if it had been purely by accident.
he follows him and, after shaking the sand off his feet, finn throws himself into the bed and rolls on his stomach so he can get another view of the ocean, even kicking his legs up behind him. )
And this is what we get to wake up to later!

they're going to have to get a place out in the countryside when (if, yuri, don't get so far ahead of yourself) it comes to it. maybe yuri can convince him to look at a beach property instead. he's not sure he's built for the chicken coop life.

he adjusts himself, remaining on his stomach as he lifts his arm to drape over yuri's stomach, caging him slightly as he lightly presses himself into the previous space between their bodies. yuri looks so pretty like this, illuminated by the stars and the wildlife surrounding them. his heart has never felt so full of romantic, all-encompassing love until now.

[ anger melts away second by second as finn settles in over top of him. this is yuri's favorite place to be--not the island, necessarily, but just here, with finn, looking up at him and his stupid handsome face. yuri smiles at him, the very stars in his eyes as finn leans down to seal their lips together.
his arms lift instantly to drape around finn's shoulders, a hand tangling in his hair as he tilts his chin up for a better angle. he doesn't go for more, even if at this point he's starting to get conditioned to want finn whenever nature is around him. it's a hell of a horny pavlovian response.

he kisses him softly, tame (since he had just upset yuri) but with a little more pressure and intent behind it. at the tug of his hair, he makes a soft noise against his mouth before pulling away with a grin. )
[ yuri giggles quietly and lifts his head up to chase finn's lips once more time before he lets out a soft sigh and settles in, gently tugging at finn to get him to settle back down again so that they can properly cuddle.

he's lulled into contentment, features softening again when he closes his eyes and simply listens to the call of birds, the chirping of insects ( all of which are leaving them alone, thanks very much ). he's almost on the way to dreamland when yuri interrupts his thoughts with a question.

[ yuri smiles and leans up to kiss the bridge of finn's nose before he settles back in again, eyes finally sliding closed as the exhaustion of discovery finally takes its hold. ]
( finn kisses yuri softly before wiggling away briefly only to pull the think blankets over them both, just to get snuggly. the weather is always perfect whenever he's here and he's glad they're able to sleep without getting too warm. especially since they tend to sleep so wrapped up in each other. )
[ it's wild to think that he'd be this tired, considering what time it was when they got here. he was wide awake, then, but the mental strain of the reveal has weighed him down enough.
he lets out a slow breath and snuggles in, wrapping himself around finn in his usual way before humming softly, comfortable. ]
( finn waits patiently for yuri to find the best position for prime snuggling before he fills the other spaces with his limbs and closes his embrace around his boyfriend.
it feels better. and he can at least go to sleep knowing that yuri isn't super upset with him. feelings of doubt begin to tug at his thoughts here and there before he shakes them away. conflict and transparency can be scary, even for someone as honest as finn tries to be. but he has hope that he'll be able to make it up to yuri over time. it's a relief that he can finally show him his entire self now.
so finally, finn dozes off with a small smile on his face, a hand pressed to yuri's back. )
